Twitter’s Most-Requested Feature Will Get a Very Quiet Rollout

Twitter is getting ready to add editing capabilities to tweets, the company says. The change is aimed at making tweeting easier to understand and less stressful for users. The editing feature is similar to the one Apple added to iMessage in iOS 16. The news is already generating a lot of buzz among Twitter users.

    Edit button

The edit button is one of the most requested features on Twitter. It would help users avoid the stress of accidentally deleting their own posts. Until now, users have had to do this manually. However, the new feature will be available to Twitter Blue subscribers first. After that, it will be rolled out to everyone.

The company has been working on podcasts for months, but has yet to reveal details. The company also bought newsletter company Revue last year, which will now become a part of Twitter Write. The company hasn’t given a timeline for the rollout, or even whether the new feature will roll out globally.

Twitter’s most-requested feature is coming in two stages. The first is internal testing, and the second is a full rollout for premium subscribers. The new feature allows users to make edits to their tweets up to 30 minutes after they’re published. The changes will be timestamped and labeled as “edited.” A timeline will also be available to show when tweets were edited.

    Hashtag suggestions

Hashtag suggestions on Twitter are a small but significant addition to the user interface. The feature will allow users to search for content based on hashtags, a feature that is already available on many social networking websites. However, the new feature is not widely used, and many users are not excited about it. In fact, some dismiss it as “weird.” Nevertheless, the company is confident that it will increase engagement.

For example, if you’re running a Twitter contest, you can use the hashtag #running to get more hashtag suggestions related to your contest. These hashtag suggestions will help you connect with a more targeted audience. After you select a hashtag, click the ellipsis to see more options. This allows you to see trending hashtags and analyze what they mean.

Hashtag suggestions are rolling out now for Android users. The iOS version will follow shortly. In the meantime, users can manually change their hashtags if they aren’t satisfied with them.

Ability to attach poll questions to tweets

Using the Twitter Polls feature is a great way to connect with your followers and give them a voice. Twitter polls are similar to regular tweets – they can have as many as four options and emojis. They also display the number of votes and the time left to vote.

Twitter polls can have up to four choices and have a character limit of 140. Each response can be up to 25 characters long. Once created, a poll can be set up and run for as long as 7 days. However, users cannot vote in their own poll, and once it’s in motion, they cannot change it or delete it.

A poll can be created using the Twitter web app or mobile app, but Tweetdeck does not support them. In order to schedule a poll, you need to use either the Twitter poll feature offered by Hypefury or a different Twitter scheduler. Once you create your poll, choose your posting method – instant, Powerscheduler, or Pipeline. Tweepsmap will take care of the rest, and you’ll watch engagement skyrocket.
